finally chosen

In a couple of weeks we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl. My husband and I like to get the name out of the way as soon as possible, but after three kids, agreeing on another name felt impossible....but we finally did it!

 

For a boy....Henry Elliott
For a girl....Audrey Eloise

 

This baby will join Elijah, Amelia, and Esme.

 

I still really like Scarlett, but the husband is stuck on Audrey and I just don't have any strong feelings for any female name except the middle name, a compromise of Elizabeth Louise, our mother's names. And I finally got him out of naming a boy after himself so I'm content with our name choices. And Audrey is after Audrey Hepburn, btw.

Congratulations!! I find out on August 29th! I'm so excited and can't wait to post the names here so people can make fun of them. Hahaha ours are a bit strange. We've had our three boy names and three girl names(we want three so in case we have only one gender) for about 5 years! haha :)

We find out on the 28th, our anniversary! Our family is divided about who wants a boy or a girl so everyone is impatiently waiting to find out.

I love Audrey Eloise. I like Henry (my husband loves the Henrik variation especially but while I like it, I prefer Henry) but Elliot was never my style. It still sounds strong and classic next to Henry so I still like the combination.
