Imogen Jean

Personally, I trip over it a bit; -gen and Jean are too close. I don't like the name Imogen, I don't think that it's pretty, but I kind of like Jean, in a retro-nostalgic way. DH has vetoed Jeannie, but I want to sneak it back onto the list!

I like Imogen but really dislike Jean. The two together are too much, though.

Imogen is nice and Jean is fine but together isn't working, at all. My sister's grandmother was Emogene and it really trips me up to read Imogen Jean since the last part of her name was pronounced like Jean.

Jean is great, especially as a middle name, but it really doesn't work with Imogen at all.

Imogen is on our list, so obviously I'm a fan. I find it is especially hard to pair with a middle name though, and Jean doesn't flow well. And I know Jean is "jeen" for a girl but in my head I always correct to "john" which makes Imogen sound just a bit too masculine. I like it with longer, girly middle names.
