Sib-Set

A girl who I know (vaguely) from school has two daughters:

Daisy-Rae
Meadow

WDYT? I don't care for Daisy-Rae as I dislike hyphenated names, but Meadow is now my favourite girl's name (it used to be Skye).

Well, i love Daisy. The rest, not so much.

Daisy-Rae sounds like a joke name in skirt or something making fun of the deep South...or a bad country western song! Which is a shame because I like the name Daisy alone. Meadow isn't my style, but I think the right person can pull it off, and I like it better than most noun first names!

However Daisy & Meadow together are so over-the-top bucolic cutesy country it makes my eye twitch. I hate themed sibling names!

I like Daisy as a stand alone, I think very few names sound good hyphenated and I agree that paired with Rae it does seem like a deep south joke,

Meadow is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I don't think I'd ever make it a first name.

Kind of ridiculous as a sibset, but not horribly embarrassing.

I love Daisy. Meadow isn't so bad, but I would never use it.

The Rae is godawful here.
