Overheard a mother calling to her kid the other day at the bus stop. Kid's name (sounded like the full first and middle) was: Madison Mary Jane

Personally, I like the sound of either Madison Mary or Madison Jane, but both together seems a little much.

Three of my older cousins (all born in the '60s) are, as a sibset: Kevin, Karen, and Kelly. It might be a little excessive.

I would really side eye someone who named their kid after a slang name for a drug.

Was the context like the parents called her "Madison Mary Jane" as just the name they used all the time, or was it the disciplinary "I mean business" use of the middle name(s)?

I think Madison Mary Jane is just too many syllables to use all the time. I'm not a fan of Madison regardless.

I'm not a fan of more than one middle name in general, but Madison Mary Jane is too much of a mouthful.
