A friends' nephews:

Thierry (7)
Theo (3)
Thibaud (newborn, pronounced Tee-bo)

Mum is English & dad is Martinique, hence the French names. I think they're all v cute on their own, but 3 'Th' names is a bit much. WDYT? Does knowing they're all named after pro footballers (soccer players for the Americans), change your opinion of the names?

I like those names individually (quite partial to French names), and they're not too bad together.

Not at all ... actually I'm very into football so know of a lot of clubs/players, but it didn't occur to me and even once you mentioned it had to think of which players those would be. So it's obviously not too blatant a theme. They're all pretty mainstream names (for being French) and it's not like those players are all at the same club and known only by those names. Can't exactly judge someone for appreciating football anyway.

The football theme was extremely obvious to me, especially Thierry and Theo and I don't particularly watch it. I am from England though, so perhaps that's why. Aside from that, when said aloud, I don't think they're too matchy. None of the names are my style but they're not bad.

I loved the set until you gave the pronunciation of Thibaud. Tee-bo and Theo are too close for my tastes.

No, because they're all pretty common names. I really like Thierry and Theo; Thibaud is ok.
