Amelia Isabel Kate
or
Melody Isabel Kate

Wat do ya'll think of Melody Elisabeth Anne

Wat are ya'lls thoughts on the name Kaley/Kailey/Kaylee/Caylee?? I have always liked the name (I named a doll Caelie when I was younger which at the time was how I wanted to spell it lol -- now i'd lean towards Kaley/Kaylee most likey) but a family friend's daughter had a baby a few yrs ago and named her Kaylee && she died at 5mons from SIDS. A lot of the ppl in that circle would assume I was just naming my baby Kaley/Kailey/Kaylee/Caylee only bc she named her daughter that && they'd assume I was doing it to be a b!tch or something bc they dont think very highly of me..which obviously I wouldnt be bc it really was sad that her daughter died && all but I liked the name when I was a younger; long b4 she had her baby and all. I'm not afraid to name my kid(s) the same name(s) as someone who's passed or even after someone who's died (our future son will have my daddy's middle name as his 3rd name in honor of him && he's passed on)..I just dont want ppl to assume such horrible things about me when naming ur kid(s) shouldnt be a big deal..and you should be able to name whatever you want as long as it's within reason..

I like Amelia better, but I think Melody Isabel Kate flows better.

I dislike Kaley, etc. It sounds so juvenile.

I like Melody Isabel Kate of the first two. But of all three, I prefer Melody Elisabeth Anne.

I’m not a big fan of the 2 middle name trend, but I do love both Isabel and Kate with Amelia. Totally adorable, and if my husband would let me, I’d name our baby girl Amelia. Or, at least, it would be at the top of my list. And Isabel is at the top of my middle name list as well. You’ve got good taste! :D

I think Melody Isabel Kate has the better flow, though I do love Amelia. Melody Elisabeth Anne is blander than Melody Isabel Kate, but still nice.

Amelia and Melody are far more substantial than Kaylee. Kaylee could be a cute nickname for Katherine Lee/Leigh or something.

I like Amelia a little bit better than Melody, but I think Melody Isabel Kate flows better. I also think Melody Elizabeth Kate is a better combo.

I've never been a fan of Kaylee/Kaley. Not only do I have bad associations with it, but it's never sounded like a name that would sound good on anyone over the age of 12. But if I had to pick a spelling, I actually prefer Kailey because then at least it looks like a variation of Bailey or Hailey and not just a creative spelling. I also think Kali is kind of a cool spelling, it's the name of a Hindu goddess and also has a slew of other meanings in different countries.

I dislike the idea of two middle names but I prefer Amelia Isabel Kate. I don't like the name Kaley and variations because, bad associations aside, it doesn't strike me as a name that'll age very well.

I like Amelia Isabel Kate better.

I like the name Kayleigh spelled like this. Second choice would be Kailey. A few weeks back a girl named Kaylee posted in this comm about how she feels her name (I think the -ee in particular) makes her sound young/immature.

If the people in that circle don't think highly of you to begin with, don't waste your time thinking about their opinions of *your* child's name! You're going to be the one saying the name 5 million times in your life and you're probably going to lose touch with them soon anyway.

I like Amelia Kate (without Isabel). I've never really understood the purpose of two middle names (unless they were both after loved ones or something). I always think it looks like the parents couldn't make their minds up.

My best friend is Kaleigh, so I have positive associations. She's 27 and the name has aged well with her, but I do think it can sound young. It some spellings (Kaley/Caley/Caylee/etc) remind me of Caylee Anthony, and that's way too sad an association for me to ever use it, even if it was my style.

I prefer the name Amelia, but I don't think either of those flow too well. I'm not too fond of the name Kaley etc. But I do prefer the spelling Kali. However, if I liked the name, I would use it and I would ignore everyone else. They don't seem like too good of friends so I wouldn't associate with them anyway. Name your kid what you want and screw what everyone else thinks.

I'm not a fan of any of the Kaley variations but I do love Keylee/Keely :)
