A woman I went to school with had her first baby today. She called him:

Finnlae Arthur.

WDYT? I don't like the spelling too much but I presume she pronounces it as Finn-Lee, which I like.

I don't care for it. All I see is Finn-lay, Finn-lay, Finn-lay.

I don't like the looks of it. I want to like the sound of it, but I keep hearing "friendly author" in my head.

wow that first name is super feminine looking to me. Also, I read it as being pronounced like "finally" and thought to myself that she really must have waited a long time for a baby lol

I like Arthur but Finnlae is strange. Finley Arthur would be nice enough.

I like the idea of it, but not the spelling. Also think it would flow better as Arthur Finlae (I cringed typing that spelling though)

I am glad I saw the comments. I was thinking that said Finnale and was saying Finale Arthur.

I totally want to say it Fin-lay. Too bad. Arthur is a strong, unusual name and I really like it.
