So, I’m thinking waaaaaay into the future, since I’m only 21w pregnant with our second daughter whose name we already have picked out, but I still love to daydream about future children. Currently, we have a 17.5 month old named Haylie Elizabeth. We just found out on Friday that our second child, due in May, is also a girl, to be named Lily Nicole. I have a couple of ideas for a name for girlie number 3, if ever she comes along, far into the future. Emma Grace and Ava Cassandra are my top choices right now. WDYT? The sibling sets would look like this:

Haylie Elizabeth, Lily Nicole, Emma Grace
Or
Haylie Elizabeth, Lily Nicole, Ava Cassandra
Our last name is a short, single syllable starting with S.

Emma Grace is nice and classic, if a bit bland. Ava Cassandra has more personality, but I'm not sure I actually like the two names together. I like Emma Cassandra slightly better. It just looks better to me. As far as first names, I think Emma goes better with your other two.

I know you're not asking for opinions on the name you've chosen for your second daughter, so I hope I don't upset you, but I feel Haylie and Lily are a little bit...close. They're only two syllables and the second syllable is the "lee" sound for both of them. I mean, if it's something you've thought about and are fine with, then okay. It's not matchy to the Braden and Jaden level, where they rhyme completely or anything. It's just a little too close for my tastes. As I said though, if it is something you're comfortable with then great. I just know sometimes outside eyes/ears see/hear something that the parents don't. I do think Lily Nicole sounds nice together.

I do like Emma Grace, but if popularity is an issue for you, this name would be a no-go...I personally know a few Emma Graces just born.

Ava Cassandra is pretty :)

I like Ava Cassandra much more than Emma Grace.

I agree with all of this.

I think that Ava Cassandra has more personality, but Cassandra is a literary name, which makes me want to pair it with Emma over uber trendy Ava. Not that Emma isn't hugely trendy and immensely popular, but so are your other choices, so I'm guessing you are ok with that. I think that Haylie, Lily, and Emma sound better together as well. :)
