My best friend's brother and his wife have two children. The first is not biologically his, though.

Logan (f) nn Logey.
Lucas Lee

I love the name Lucas, and also Lee, but it's too many L's for me. I don't like Logan anyway, and on a girl? No way. What does everyone else think?

My cousin is a female Logan and I really like it for both genders. I like Lucas as well especially since I know a Luke who would rather his parents have given him the option of being Luke or Lucas. Not as big a fan of Lee unless it's short for something. It just doesn't seem like a whole name.

I don't like the name Logan on either sex. The only Logan I know is a girl, though, and it really seems to suit her. Logey, though...ewwww. Just makes me think of "loogie." Ew, ew, ewwww.

I dislike Logan but yeah, on a girl it seems like they're trying to be EXTRA trendy. Logey is pretty awful.. Loogey is a future nickname, I'm sure.

Lucas is ok.. not my favorite, but not bad. Lee is kinda generic but also not bad. I have a female cousin whose middle name is Lee, after her dad, whose middle name is also Lee.

I know a girl Logan, spelled Logyn. I always want to say the -gyn like gynecologist.

My nephew is Logan Alexander and it was used as a nod to Wolverine in X-Men. It was actually DH's #1 boy's name until his BF & wife used it. I only see it on a boy, though I've heard of it used on a girl before. We also call him Logey (assuming it's prn'd low-gi (rhymes with key)).

Lucas Lee makes think of Lucas Films for some reason... Not a HUGE fan, but I don't hate it.

Assuming it's said Low-Ghi. It's just a shortened version.

It's weird how some names have just become so trendy. My cousin is almost 30 and her name is Logan. I don't know if anyone ever called her Loogey.

I've never heard of Logan for a girl. I'm surprised to find out that it's so common! I don't like it. But, then again, I have kind of bad connotations with the name. Gotta agree that Logey is pretty bad though. My brain also wanted to pronounce that as Loogey. I like Lucas, but all the Ls is a turn-off for me, personally.

My roommate's name is Logan- she's a girl and I prefer it for a girl. It suits her. Logey is awful though for sure, especially for a girl.

Like Lucas also but definitely not with Lee.

I actual like Logan for a boy or girl.

I wouldn't want two 'L' first names, though. My daughter is an alliterative (Lillian L______) and my husband wanted to name our next child Louis if its a boy (it's a family name on his side). I think two LL's is too much, especially since we plan on having at least one more child. I *think* I've convinced him that it will be a perfect middle name. That way, we still honor his family.

Haha, an old friend of mine has two sons named Logan and Lucas. Small world! They're expecting a Lorelei in March.

I agree that Logan on a girl is horrible. It's barely tolerable on a boy. The nn Logey, well:

lo·gy
[loh-gee]
adjective,
lacking physical or mental energy or vitality; sluggish; dull;

I ~love~ Lucas, but not with Lee. Too many L's altogether between both children.
