[identity profile] shortlived.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
So I'm reading a book right now called "A Handful of Dust". The author? Well, his name is Evelyn Waugh -- a guy named Evelyn is pretty hard for me to swallow, but my Googling leads me to believe he didn't particularly care for it either.

One of the big trends in recent years as been to give little girls distinctly male names. Some work, others don't.

1) What are some female names that would work on the opposite sex?
2) What are names that were originally meant for males that have since become too girly to be used?

Not pregnant, TTC, or even considering either for at least another ten years. I'm just curious about how names play a part in how you perceive someone.
