A few names overheard recently

At Thanksgiving dinner with most of my family and some of my uncles' relatives:

- 30-ish sisters Shauna and Lynn-Ann and Shauna's little girl, first name Emma-Lynn, middle name Grace.
- My uncle's great nephew and great niece Connor and Haley. Connor's Mum, Megan, is in her early twenties.

While riding a bus last week (using the 'normal' spelling because I don't know otherwise):

Siblings: Aurora, Hayden, and Isabelle.

I hate hyphenated first names. Pick one and use the other as the middle name! That said, I really like all the names separately.

Aurora is a pretty name. Reminds me of Sleeping Beauty!
