ok so i was reading some other posts, and i remember these,and was horrified!

one of my ex roomates(who i dislike with a passion) had always told us that when she had a daughter, she was going to name her

Emma Lee ..... o_O


then after my ex and i split up i was talking to this guy, who was nice enough, but as soon as he told me what he planned to name his *future* daughter, i quit talking to him all together

his name of choice? Heaven Lee ...his last name is Johnson ....no thank you, FAR to many reasons all in one name, NOT to name any daughter that.


so, am i the only one who finds both these names equally disturbing?

I like Emma Lee as long as she wasn't going to be called by both names all the time. Otherwise, I don't see the problem.

I dislike Heaven as a name all around so that one bothers me.

the problem was, she was gonna call her emma lee all the time. she just thought it was SOOO CUTE. she was constantly going 'oh its to cute, her name is emma lee, but when i call her, its emily..haha' *and yes you can insert the clueless valley girl voice with that,lol.

i love the name emma, and even lee, but not together.

I agree, if you like Emma, Lee is ok as a middle name. Even though it does sound like Emily, there is slightly different intonation in Emma Lee and Emily.. but if it's going to be her full name that's just silly. I do know of an Emma-Lea though, an actual baby, and I was pretty disappointed when I heard that. Heaven Lee is much much worse though

Ugh I hate them both. Heaven Lee is worse though, cause at least Emma is a nice, legit name. But they're both really cheesy. I think people forget they're naming people, not dolls.

*mouth drops to the ground* OMG THOSE ARE FRICKING HORRIBLE!!!!! Sorry for freaking out but I am too much of a name obsesser. I am very disturbed by this fact, though Emma Lee is just plain wrong but not disturbing.
