My sister came home from her first day of course and told me about people she'd met. At one point, she says, "And I met Dorothy with a P". This confused me greatly until she clarified it for me:

..... I am outraged on behalf of the girl. Apparently she explains her name with an eye roll and is also fairly outraged about it. Or at least grudging...

That sounds like someone just can't say Dorothy properly. There is a weird tendency for people to say some words around here that have a th as an f. Like 'healthy' becomes 'healfy' and that also means someone is hot :| So yeah, that is exactly what that made me think of...
