ETA: Also, a little sidestep, but I have a fear of spiders, but I'm also opposed to killing them as they do eat dust mites and those things. In my new (old) apartment, I've found 3 that live here, and I'm okay with them living here as long as I don't see them, but I was thinking if I give them names, like I would any other house animal, maybe I can get used to them a bit more. So I'm looking for some potential spider names. Anyone? (I think they're all female)

I kinda like it. It's not like anyone will ever call her all that unless they have the same tradition of using a child's full name when they are in trouble. My daughter has two middle names. Normally she just uses the first one but the second one was after my Grandmother who helped raise me. So it was important to me to honor her memory. Chances are Aella will end up picking the middle name or two that she likes and use that.

That is a lot of names, but is it possible that most of those are ceremonial and she won't have to write them on forms? My sister has a friend who's half Filipino and she has seven ceremonial middle names, but just one legal middle name, and that's how things are addressed to her.

ugh I can't find the video clip from the movie, but here's a terrible play of the last scene of charlotte's web. after charlotte's eggs hatch, the baby spiders all leave, but 3 stay behind. the pig helps them choose names for themselves.

Dead, Deader and Deadest would be the names of the spiders at my house. They are allowed to live outside but the inside and the porch are mine and they cannot live there.
