Sep. 7th, 2012 04:22 pmWdyt of these combos?
Declan Peter
Nathan Charles
Lucas Henry
Rhys William
Harrison James
Theodore Ryan
Jack Nolan
Ivy Sophia
Lacey Annabel
Fiona Marie
Olive Denise
Layla Bryony
Alice Harriet
ETA: What do you think of Edward? Also, would it be weird to name one child Nathan and give another John/Jonathan as a middle name? If it makes a difference, daddys name is Jonathan "Johnny".

Date: 2012-09-07 04:31 pm (UTC)The rest of the combinations sound great.
Individually, I like: Declan, Rhys, William, Harrison, James, Theodore, and Alice. And I've been thinking about Harriet lately, mostly because I adore the nn Hattie.
As far as thoughts on the first names, Ivy has always struck me as a sexy name and therefore not one I would want to use for my child. I think that's because I first encountered it as a name on Poison Ivy in Batman when I was quite young. Lacey sounds too cutesy to me. I don't think it would age well. The rest are either ones I mentioned above as favorites of mine or they just aren't my style but I don't have a problem with them.

Date: 2012-09-07 10:14 pm (UTC)I love Edward. Nathan as a first name and John as a middle name wouldn't seem weird in a sibset, especially if Nathan was older. Nathan and Jonathan might be a bit glaring, though.

I like Edward. It will likely be incorporated into one of our hypothetical future son's names because it's my husband's middle name (and he's a third, goes by Ted, short for Edward).
