What do you think of the name Meadow for a girl? I like Skye as well. If I were to have two daughters and named one Meadow and one Skye, do you think it would be too much? They are both nature-like names and I do like the idea of having a sibset with a bit of variety in it, but I love both names equally.

Way too much for both. Maybe something a little less obvious like Meadow and Heather, or Skye and Willa. Idk.

I think Meadow and Skye are way too matchy/similar to be used as first names for a sib-set. Maybe one as a first name and the other used as a middle name... otherwise it sounds like an apartment complex or something--like Skye Meadow Senior Living, Meadow Skye Apartments, etc.

Thanks for the comments. I love Skye and have done for years but Meadow now seems more favourable to me. It's prettier, I think. I might reserve Skye for a dog instead.

Wasn't Meadow the daughter on The Sopranos? I much prefer Skye. Yeah, it might be a bit much together. Maybe not so much if they were middle names?

Apparently so. I haven't watched it but I Googled it. Middle names aren't that important to me and I like the names too much for them to be middle names.

I am a bit of a hippie girl so I don't mind Meadow and Skye because of their nature theme... However I personally hate the name Skye. I hate LOOKING at it! I mean if you wanna name a child SKY why add that E???

Skye is an island off the coast of Scotland. Meadowe, however, is not.

Paul Walker (actor) has a daughter named Meadow. I also always think of the Sopranos TV show when I hear it LOL. Regardless, I really like the name Meadow!

I also like "Skye"... not really as a sib set with Meadow, though.
