Aug. 30th, 2012 09:53 pmI've been thinking about a few names I'd never considered before:
Reuben
Peter - id previously only considered it as a middle but the more I think about it, the more I like it as a first name. However it's the name of a recently deceased grandparent and im worried it would cause controversy.
Oscar
Isaac
Harrison
Dylan
Declan
Laurel
Anabel
Fiona

Date: 2012-08-30 09:28 pm (UTC)Prefer the name spelled Annabelle, and it's not really my style. Don't like Harrison as a first at all. The drawback to Reuben is that it's a (delicious!) sandwich, and that "rube" is a hick.
Oscar is on my list.
How about Felix, Julian, and Iona?

Date: 2012-08-30 09:35 pm (UTC)As for the rest I love:
Peter
Oscar
Isaac
Anabel
Fiona
I don't like the rest with the exception of Harrison which I'm kind of on the fence.

Date: 2012-08-31 04:12 am (UTC)The only exception for me is Reuben. I've never liked the name, and to be honest I don't know why. Weirdly enough, though, it's grown on me as a nickname for Ruby... strange, I know! There's a little girl named Ruby where I work and we're constantly calling her "Rubes", "Rubster", or "Ruben"... and that's the only case I've ever liked it! It might just be that it fits her so well.
