Name heard at a teacher store

I went to buy supplies for my class and int he back of the store they were running a children's art workshop. I heard a mm calling her daughter, I'm guessing the spelling here, Auruleah (ow-roo-lee-ah). WDYT? I find it ugly, which is unfortunate because she is a pretty little girl and was polite and sweet to the people there.

Initially that was also my thought, so I went back around thinking I had misheard. Sadly, she repeated it the same way about four more times. I agree, Aurelia is a beautiful name.

Now that I am thinking on it, the mom had an accent, maybe it was Aurelia and she was emphasizing the wrong syllables. She was pronouncing it the way I spelled it.

That's probably the case. I'm French so therefore have an accent and probably pronounce it differently and put the emphasis on different syllables than someone who's first language is English.
