I recently saw a two month old boy... named Sparrow. I'm not sure if the parents are really into nature, or the biggest Pirates of the Caribbean fans ever.
Or maybe even Nicole Richie fans? I swear, until she had her daughter, Harlow and her son, Sparrow... those names were never mentioned here... There's no way she wasn't even a little bit of the reason why those names have been on the rise.
I think Sparrow kind of works as a name; it could even be kind of cute on a girl. Still, though I sometimes like names like that, they don't exactly scream professional so I hope he has a more normal middle name to use, if necessary, when he enters the workforce.
or the biggest Pirates of the Caribbean fans ever. That made me giggle, because I realized that's what the name Sparrow makes me think of, not the bird any more.
I hope that bird names aren't becoming a new trend. I've already been told that someone is using Wren after hearing my daughter's name, which is flattering, but we want her name to stay unusual!
