I love the name Aribel (had a student a few years ago w/ this name, spelled that way) and would also like it Aribelle, but I don't like the Ara spelling of Arabella, and I don't like the "bella" ending.

No opinions on the middle name (I don't think middle names matter at all).

Personally I don't like hyphenated names nor do I like it when a person has more than one middle name. I greatly dislike the name Arabella because it sounds more like a grandmother's name, therefore not suiting a child. I LOVE the names Heather and Marie, especially together.

Arabella just isn't pleasing to my ears (I dislike -bella names), and it reminds me of "arachnid". Heather-Marie is incredibly dated.

I don't like it.

I've always thought Arabella sounds stuffy and just trying-to-hard, and Heather is just straight up 80s to me. Marie is fine, but the hyphen in "Heather-Marie" just puts the awfulness over the top.

Overall, it just seems like a really weird combination of styles.

I find the name to be very busy, there are way to many syllables and after a name like Arabella; the Heather-Marie seems like it is missing something. Arabella would be better paired with a simple, short middle name. Something like Arabella Joy, Arabella Lee, etc, one syllable.

They don't go together at all. Arabella is a pretty princess-y name, Heather-Marie is a dated '80s combo.

I've always liked Arabella. Hyphens seem unnecessary to me; I'd rather just use two middle names. I agree that the names seem stylistically different, but if it has meaning to you, that's what matters.

I think Arabella is adorable! Reminds me of a cute pig-tailed little girl with a lollipop in a pink dress :)

Heather-Marie sounds like a name that should stand alone. I don't like it, especially with Arabella.
