Here are the names of Wren's little swimming buddies, all aged between 5 and 9 months.

Eloise (f)
Sophia (f)
Ella (f)
Rourke (m)
Frankie (m)
Mason (m)

WDYT? I'm not keen on any of them, they're just a bit blah, but Rourke really bothers me - it's so harsh! I originally thought it was York, which wasn't great but not as bad as Rourke.

Rourke is really weird. It reminds me of tourke or fork. Just doesn't sound like a name to me. Do you know the story behind it?

I think Eloise is pretty, and it's not a name you hear all that often.
Sophia is overdone, but it's nice enough. I prefer using the nn Sophie.
Rourke could be a family name. It's not the worst thing I've ever seen--at least it's spelled properly, but yeah, still probably better suited to the middle name slot.
I like the name Franklin, but I cannot stand Frank or Frankie. I'm hoping the kid is at least a Frank though for his given name. Frankie doesn't sound very professional, although I suppose a Frankie could shorten to Frank if he wanted.
Ella and Mason aren't bad names; they're just not ones of which I have ever been fond.

Over all, I have to say, this isn't a bad bunch. Nothing really jumps out at me, but a list this normal is refreshing.

Rourke strikes me as a surname, and not as a first name. I don't particularly like Frankie or Mason but Ella, Sophia and Eloise are cute.

I adore Eloise and I *like* Sophia and Mason well enough, despite their popularity. Eloise is the only one that I would actually use, though.

I love the girls' names, but I'm not big on the boys' names. Rourke just makes me picture Mickey Rourke.

Nothing offensive about any of them, IMO. Nice, solid, 'normal' names that the kids won't get picked on for. Though I'm not all that keen on Rourke..

I like:
Eloise
Sophia

Frankie - as a gp name
Mason - despite every other baby boy (in the UK) being named this. - I literally know three baby's born in the last month named "Mason Smith"

Rourke was the only name I liked out of all of them, honestly. The other ones are just too trendy...
