Zaylee?

One of my friends is having her third child, a daughter, sometime in the next few weeks. Her other two children have names that I really like, Charlize and Ethan, so I figured I'd like the name they chose for this one. I was wrong :/ her short list?

Hailey
Kaliyah
Kyara
Payton
Rylee
Zaylee

The only ones I think are okay are Hailey and Payton, though I prefer it spelled Peyton. Zaylee makes my head hurt.

I like Kyara if it's pronounce Kee-R-ah.

Hailey is the only semi-acceptable name on that list, IMO. And I'm not a big fan of Hailey, either.

I think Riley, Charlize, and Ethan would make a cute sibset but not spelled Rylee. What's with those spellings? They are all incorrect or made up (except Hailey).

I agree, though I strongly prefer Riley for a boy.

Zaylee is on my list but because I have a serious aversion to y's, I prefer the spelling of Zaeleigh. I also like Reilly in its' original spelling or for a girl Rilee or Rileigh, but those spellings would get to confusing, defintely not the way she has it spelled!

Hailey, Payton and Rylee are all definitely better choices than Zaylee. If they want a Z name, they should go with Zoe or Zoey instead.

Zaylee just sounds and looks too...cutesey. I cannot picture a grown woman with the name. I'm sorry, but someday when I'm old and I meet a doctor or lawyer named Zaylee, I will be unable to take her seriously.

If she's so into Z names, here's some others to suggest for her.

Zoe/Zoey
Zofia/Zofie
Zenobia/Zenobie
Zenia
Zara

Heck, my Cabbage Patch doll came with the name Zabrina; maybe she'd even like that one.

Hailey or Riley (Rylee is a bit trendy) would be fine. Zaylee makes my head hurt, too.

Azalea is a flower and could take the nickname Zaylee. Then it's at least a bit more flexible.

Hmm, I don't like any of those names.
Riley (this spelling and preferably on a boy) is okay.

I like Hailey. I think Rylee would be good with the sib set. I prefer it spelled Riley
