Nun names. Yes, really.
Mar. 7th, 2012 06:40 pmToday, in my "Writing About Place" class (I'm a college senior), we went walking to a nearby cemetery where the only people buried there are Catholic nuns. Needless to say, I couldn't help noticing the names. Their deaths go back to the early 1930s and lead up to the present, and most of them were very old when they died (at least two were 99 and many were around or close to 90). Keep in mind that in quite a few orders, nuns can't choose their names.
