Well, my long time boyfriend finally proposed on Christmas, and so we have been discussing the future the last few days. Which of course to me always means fantasizing about what we might name our children.

The boys name I like is:
Elisha Benjamin J. (J being what our last name is. J really makes an H should. lol) This was my great grandfather's name, and I really love it. :)

For a girl we like:
Katherine Jean J.

Though I am not 100% sold on the sound. Any other suggestions that are similar to Katherine in sound and style?

What about Carly Jean? It rolls off the tongue a little better and I think the name Carly is cute.

I like Katherine a lot too, especially nn Kate. But I prefer it spelled Kathryn.

I can't get on board with the boy being Elisha. To me, Elisha is a girl's name. Like Elisha Cuthbert. I'm guessing he would always be called Eli.

Well technically Elisha is a guy's name, like Elijah and Elisha from the Bible, haha. But I agree that I can't get on board with it at all, anyway...I've always thought it's an awkward name because you just want to say Elijah instead.
