Singer Dev, from "Like a G6" and "Dancing in the Dark" fame, gave birth at the beginning of December to a girl, Emilia Lovely.  Dev's birth name is Devin Star; her sisters are Sierra Sol and Maezee Luna. (I only found this out because I wanted to know what name  "Dev" came from).  I kind of like the celestial theme of the middle names in her family.

I was also catching up on my General Hospital news, and Ingo Rademacher, who played Jasper "Jax" Jacks, and his wife Ehiku (not sure the origin of this name - I'm thinking Hawaiian?), had a son a few years ago and named him... Peanut Kai.  PEANUT.

He's from Germany but grew up in Australia so he has the oddest accent. Ingo is a good name for yelling, if the child is being naughty. INNNNGO!!!!

Emilia is beautiful and Emilia Lovely is cute. Peanut...is one of my mother's nicknames for my younger sister because she's small. So yeah. I really like Kai, though. (Isn't it Welsh?)

I'm a GH fan, well used to be, and for some reason I always used to called him Indigo. I dont know why, maybe I feel like Ingo is incomplete, lol.

I like Emilia a lot. I think using Lovely as a middle name is alright because middle names are usually trivial anyways but using it as a first name would be too much. They sound nice together.

I like the celestial theme, too. But I would have liked Maezee to be Maisie. I like Sierra Sol the best. Odd that Sierra and Maisie are earthy names (mountains and corn, i think) but Devin isn't.

I like the name Ingo too but I think people would mistake it for Ringo all the time. But naming your kid Peanut is just crazy. This must have been a case of them calling him that while he was in the womb and then they couldn't stop. Yikes. The nicknames, too. P, peany, nut, nutty.

Sierra is mountain range in Spanish, but apparently Maisie is a nickname for Margaret, which means pearl... I count it as an earth name ;) plus it does have that maize sound! It does make for an offbeat sibset
