Nov. 29th, 2011 08:15 pmI have a 10 month old daughter named Kenna Memory Crowder. 'Kenna' is Scottish for 'born of fire'. We loved it because it was very different and we are both in touch with our Scottish clans. Her came up with Memory. I still have no idea why or where it came from but it sounds good. Plus, her initials are a combination of ours, Kris and Madeleine. The two of us were planning on having at least one more child and we were looking for girl and boy name combinations that kept the initials the same (KMC) or had our middle initials (BRC). We were also looking for unusual/uncommon names. We would love any suggestions from you guys :)

Date: 2011-11-30 08:19 am (UTC)I figured I'd this to the list of suggestions since we also adopted her brother as well and this is his name -- James Garfield. Mind, you don't have use Garfield b/c we did pick that b/c he's JUST like the cartoon cat, but everyone has always said Kenna and James sound great together.
