I have already had 4 children: Aidan Mackenzie, Ava Dulcea (pronounced Dull-see-ah), Remy Forrester (my son who died of SIDS at 4 1/2 months), and Mia Isobel. I have always wanted a HUGE family, and so I still have plans to have more in the future.

My boys names are easy:

Rafe Hollis or Gabriel (a middle name to be determined later, but suggestions heartily welcomed!)

My girls names though seem endless although there are really only four on my list. My main problem is that I gave my daughters middle names I would've loved as first names too, just in case I didn't have more daughters :P Plus there was one name I found on here (and the "owner" gave me permission to use, (<3 you incogneato). So my list for girls in no order at all because I love them all.

Bella Suntine (resembles Isobel, but I love Suntine, but has to be a middle name because I don't want her nn to be Sunny.)

Roma Aubrielle (the name from incogneato, which is perfect because it resembles nothing else I've already used, only problem is I still love the others too!!!)

Keira Rosalie (I like this one because it's the only other Irish name besides Aidan in my lineup)

Dulcea Elyse (pronounced Dull-chay-uh, but still spelled the same as Ava's middle name and therein lies the issue here)

So basically I just want feedback, and suggestions for a middle name for Gabriel, but if you think you have an idea for a middle name to replace any of the others throw it out there! I will appreciate it. I love the whole naming process!! I like beautiful names, romantic sounding, foreign without being unknown here in the US, if that makes sense! And I use their middle names as much as possible, because otherwise it's a waste! :)

(For fun, I used the icon of Ava when she was a baby with my father-in-law. She was going for his glasses and we realized it could be photo shopped into that...still makes me laugh!)

Very sorry to hear about your son :( Glad to hear you want to continue to expand your family!

All of your name choices are beautiful, but I would be a little wary of using an existing middle name as a future child's first name, different pronunciation/spelling, or not...to me, it would be weird if I had the same first name as my sibling's middle name, especially if you already try to address your kids by their first and middle names together.

My favorite by far of the bunch though, is Aubrielle. I think it's a really beautiful first name, and I've never heard of it, before. I much prefer it to Roma. Plus, it has more potential for cute nicknames (Elle, Bri, Aubrie, etc.).

I think it would be a little too weird to use Dulcea when you already have an Ava Dulcea...especially confusing with the varying pronunciations. Plus, you already used that name, you don't want to waste the next name choice on a name you've already used when you can have the fun of picking out a new name to add to your family! :)

I like Roma Aubrielle and Keira Rosalie the best of your list, they both go well with the names of your other children. Keira Aubrielle would be pretty, too. Bella Suntine is pretty, but with Isabella being SOOOOO popular and only getting more popular, her beautiful name would just blend in with a sea of Isabella/Bella's. :( What about Ella Suntine? Nella?

I forgot to add that I won't use another first name that begins with "A" though. Aidan and Ava are always being called "A-vin and A-da" and my family has unanimously decided no more "A" names (funny since they though I should use all A's at first :P) You are right about Aubrielle being versatile, I hadn't thought of it just because of the A thing. That's handy and a good thing to keep in mind!!

But yes, I wasn't sure if it was weird or if it was me about the names so I appreciate the opinion! You're both right of course. That will shorten it up my list (something I'm always grateful for, I can be so attached to the idea of something that I can't see clearly). So thank you!!! :)

Boys first: I thought it was funny that you had Theodore, it was one of the possibles I was thinking of. Phoenix is a neat idea (I used to be friends with a girl who used Phoenix as a middle name for her daughter.) I also like Lorcan (never really came across that name, it's different!) and August(though maybe as Augustus, would sound better with Gibbons as a last name). However another favorite I thought of after viewing this massive list (I love the massive list I promise!!) is Liran. Either as a first or middle name. What do you think?? Just as an opinion, I'm rather in love with my first choice, I just like options in case the baby doesn't look like a particular name! ;)

As for girls, after hearing both from you and earn_my_wings, I've decided you're both right and I will not be using Bella or Dulcea. I will be keeping Roma Aubrielle as a top choice, as well as Kiera Rosalie, but your list reminded me of so many names I was going to use at some point and still love:

Audrey (which is like Audra) this was almost Ava's name. I changed it because that girl I used to be friends with wanted to name her baby Aubrey Phoenix. Is out because no more "A" names. Too confusing!

Aurora (Still an "A" name, but maybe if we call her Rory, but with all the other choices not likely!)

Fiona

Lucinda or Lucia (Was a serious consideration when we were pregnant with my last child Mia, but Mia was a favorite from Ava's pregnancy)

Freya (or Feia, same pronunciation just drop the R) This is actually one of the top of this list and I name I seriously considered before. Could make a comeback.

Mischa (I love this one, I feel like I'm speaking another language every time I say it!)

Sybilla (was right up there with Lucinda and Mia) also with the middle name Elyse

Cassandra (I probably would've used this but my husband vetoed on the basis he dated a Cassandra. Geez, if I couldn't use the names of all the guys I dated I would be hard up for names....okay, fine, it's not that bad, but still! I could see if it was a bad relationship, but not all relationships)

Pippa (Because of Pippa Middleton, I wasn't really aware of the name before then. I think it's cute, but not my absolute favorite)

Guinevere (Gwen) I like this name too, I have always been a crazy huge fan of the King Arthur stories and legend! Could also sneak it's way onto my list.

I hope I can have a big family one day. I'm 19 and havn't started yet due to not wanting to fall behind in my college classes but I really like the idea of having alot of kids. My boyfriend wants alot of kids to so I know I have him onboard. We have a few names picked out.
Boys:
Alexander Leon Jones, Ian Leon Jones, Aiden Leon Jones, Hayden Leon Jones(Aiden and Hayden if I have twins, which is very likely, Plus Hayden works for a girl name or a boys)
Girls:
Jade Alexa Jones, Destiny Mia Jones, Sapphire Kira Jones, Aurura May Jones
Hopefully I might get to use all these names up :)

Big families are awesome! I can see why they aren't for everyone however lol. I hope you are lucky enough to have as many as you can handle and afford! ;) I desperately want one more of each gender, but I know that may not happen. Plus I want to wait until we're better off financially so we don't have to worry about how we're going to buy diapers! Luckily, my husband just started a decent paying job today so I won't have to worry anymore. But if I have another I'll need a new crib, my little billy goat of a daughter has honestly gnawed on her crib and stripped the varnish and now it's bare wood in places! It's horrifying, but she started getting teeth right as she turned 6 months, so that's 4 months of teething damages there ;)

Something to consider if you want to name twins Aiden and Hayden. They sound almost exactly the same when spoken. Trust me...I know!! It could be confusing is all. You may need to implement nicknames if you have your heart set on the pair of names together.

Also, take a break between babies and enjoy them and give your body a chance to recuperate from pregnancy and labor! I didn't mean to exactly but I ended up having 3 of my 4 children back to back. May of 2008, October 2009, and January 2011. My body felt like it got massacred! I do not recommend that for anybody! I was too pregnant all the time to play much with my other kids, and I felt so guilty for it! I did 3 of 4 births naturally, the last one I got an epidural. I was so sorry I didn't get one before, it made everything much easier and I wasn't out of it.

Sorry! I didn't mean to get that far away from the names! I think Ian is awesome. But I do have a question, are you planning on using the same middle name for all of the boys? You really seem to like Leon a LOT, I'm guessing it's a family name ;)

LOL I plan on taking breaks in between. Twins run in my family so i'll probably reach my kid mark early. I thought about doing it all naturally because I've heard alot of horror stories about the epidoral. But I guess I'll see when the time comes. lol I'll probably change my mind when I feel just how bad going into labor feels. Actually giving birth will feel alot worse I'm sure. And Leon is a tradition in my boyfriends family. They are really big on traditions and since I already told him no to lil Jonathan Leon Jr.s, we agreed to just keep the Leon tradition going. I kinda like it anyways. lol

Twins ran in my family too but nobody's had them in my generation yet so I'm starting to think it's a myth so we'd stay celibate until marriage or something. "You'll pay, and you'll pay twice as much as the next girl!" LOL! I will tell you something about labor, do whatever you feel is right for you as you are feeling it. Just so you're not afraid of either option I'll tell you about my experience with both natural and epidural labors. Not too long I promise!

Natural childbirth is manageable, I did it 3 times, and people praise you for it, like "wow, what a trooper you are" . It hurts, and at the end the pain is almost like searing hot because you're stretched so bad, but it also sort of numbs you. A little. But then you deliver and the pain is almost forgotten because you are so wrapped up in wanting to see your baby and hear stats about your baby and name your baby(that comes later anyway) and show off your baby, and wanting to EAT that the pain you are no longer in just isn't important enough to register. It does suck, but only for a little bit and not bad enough to stop you from going through it again for another precious child.

I only got the epidural on my last labor because I was having back labor for the first time (and had been so for 12 hours before I clued in and went to the hospital and my little darling still took another 6 hours after that!), I was still on the tail end of a flu, I was sick of being an incubator and I was just all around miserable. I craved nothing more than relief so I got the evil epidural I had been afraid of for a decade. It didn't hurt at all, in fact I had trouble concentrating on being totally still because it tickled! As I recall it didn't take long to go into full effect, and I could only feel pressure as the baby was being born to tell me that I needed to push. And let me tell you, I was almost whistling while I was pushing it was so pain free. Never again will I do it without my friend the epidural. I'm only telling you this so you can decide for yourself without taking the horror stories for gospel. I was angry that I had been afraid for no good reason all that time. I don't want that to happen to you.

And you never really see Leon being used. It's funny it's almost an obscure name nowadays. I personally am with you on no Jr's, I dated one had to call the house and say Jr so you got the right one, haha!
