I just found out a few weeks ago I'm pregnant. I have always had a list of names I liked stashed away on my computer for future reference. Every time I hear a name I like, I add it to the list, when I decide I don't like a name anymore, I take it off.

Anyways, I thought I'd list them here for you cause I like reading other peoples names: ** = I like it alot

Now the question.... what do you think a good middle name would be for Reese? Our last name is Hartline. I really like it but I just can't think of a middle name that goes smoothly with our last name! Any ideas? Same thing goes with Wyatt... need middle name suggestions. The rest of the names are normal enough that the normal middle names that run in our families will go good...

Thanks for any ideas. I want to have a good list to present to the hubby when it comes time to talk about this stuff.

I like Reese Alexandria. I didn't even notice that Alexandria was on your list until I re-read.

Also, I like Jennifer & William, but that's because I'm a Jenifer and the hubb's name is William.

Reese Alessandria Hartline is really good I think.

I LOVE the name Reese. And Jesse and Riley from your boys list. I know a family with the last name Wyatt so I have a hard time thinking of it as a first name.

Reese Alexandria sounds nice. Reese Isabelle would also be a good combo. Alexander and William are two of my favorite boy names!!! I really Wyatt Alexander. And congrats on the baby! ;)

I say for a middle name you should pick one with three syllabals. It just sounds good with a three syllabal middle name to me.

The only names I would recommend as first names would be:

Alessandra
Alexandria
Rebecca
William
Wyatt

The rest, unless they are really significant, are just waaaaaaaay too common. It's unfair to your future child; they'll just end up being a Matthew B. or a Jennifer H. or what have you. If you like the more common names, they'd work great as middle names. I don't really think Reese or Wendy are that common; but the former is far too boyish to me, and in a world of Wendy's the fast food place, I don't think it'd be fair to name a child the latter. Also, Riley (while I do feel it is a boy's name), is becoming so much of a feminine name that your poor son would get lost in a sea of little girl Rileys (or Ryleigh, Ryley, Rylie, etc).

PS: I left William on there just because it has a lot of NN possiblities and it's just one of the nicer of your boy's names.

Anna - one of my least favorites. nothing WRONG with it, i guess i've just never cared for it.
