Just come here from LJ spotlight and been browsing, this looks like fun!
Like several others, I'm nowhere near having a baby of my own yet, but I do have names I like, so I thought I'd share them and see what you guys thought :)
My heritage is partly Welsh, so there are some names from there that I like. Others are family names :)
In my head, I have 2 boys and a girls (I have no idea why, I just do), and I've followed the family tradition (my immediate family, that is) of having two middle names; I'm Victoria Amy Elizabeth, for example.
For my oldest boy, Marcus Dafydd John- I had a friend called Marcus, Dafydd is the Welsh form of David (my brother's middle name) and John is a good solid, Biblical name.
For my girl, Amanda Bethan Elizabeth- Amanda means beloved (and was Spock's mum's name, not that I'm a Trekkie or anything :P), Bethan is the Welsh form of Bethany (my sister's name) and Elizabeth is my middle name.
And for my baby boy, Harry Owain William- Harry is a more popular form of Harold (my Grandfather's middle name), Owain is the Welsh form of Owen and the name of a Welsh hero I loved to read about when I was small (Owain Glyndwyr) and William is a family name liek whoa (everyone from my grandfather to my brother has it, via my cousin and uncle!)
Any opinions? (I'm sure you have several, but it's polite to ask :P)

How would you pronounce Bethan? Beth-ann? Bee-than?
