I have fallen in love with a new name. MAGNOLIA.
I love it. I don't know why but I heard it on a tv show and if I ever have another daughter I would use it. There are a lot of possible nicknames. I have a three year old daughter named Molly so I think the "M" trend fits.
The only problem is that I can't find a middle name I like. Any suggestions?

Any middle names that the previous commenter suggested would work. You may want to make it go with the first born's middle name as well. Using the same letter perhaps, or a letter up in the alphabet, or even using an old family name. Like the middle name/first name of your mother/grandmother.

When I think of the name Magnolia I think of names that end in Y for a middle name. Like May, Kaye, Joy, Whitney, Verity, Katy. etc

That might just be my southern influence talking. But I find with names old fashioned and 'thick' like Magnolia it helps to have a middle name that is a bit thin and airy. Y ending names tend to give that impression.

Thanks! I love Magnolia Grace and Magnolia Joy. I also thought about Magnolia Jade. I enjoy Magnolia Skye also but it might sound a little too hippish for my tastes.

I think it could work, lol. It wouldn't be something I would immediately gravitate towards, but it could be very pretty.

I like Magnolia. I'm a Monkees fan and one of their later songs is titled "Magnolia Simms" and it's very catchy. I like the combos listed above; any of them could be very sweet.

My cat is named Magnolia (in my icon!). I love it. We call her Maggie, Mags and sometimes Nola.

I think it's gorgeous! Maybe for a middle name Claire, Jane, Rae, Jade, Ann/Anne, Grace, June, Sage, Pearl, Sky, Gail, Cass, Belle, Dawn... something monosyllabic would probably sound the best (unless it would sound awkward with the last name).
