Are there any other names that "Ginny" can be a nickname for other than Virginia?

It's a bit of a stretch but Gillian. Jill is the more intuitive nickname, but Ginny takes the "Gi" from the beginning and the "n" from the end with the standard nickname-making "y" thrown on the end. I kind of like non-standard nicknames for names.

found Ginerva, in addition to what everyone suggested above. Imogen, maybe, at a stretch. I knew someone called Imogen and she was called Ginny.

I never even thought of it as a nickname for Virginia. I always associated it with Genevieve.

I'm from AR & people sometimes pronounce Jenny to sound like Jean-y.
