My kids are Elijah, Amelia, and Esme. Our puppy's name is Gracie. I may call out any of those names regardless of who I am calling/yelling for. It really just depends on who has been annoying me the most, it's the name I'm most likely to call out first. I can trip over Gracie and Amelia and I don't think those are that similar at all!

I think Noah and Owen are a good sib set:)

I'm Monica and my little sister is Irene... my mother trips over our names ALL THE TIME. I doubt it's got anything to do with our names sounding the same.

i'm crystal and my sister is megan. my mom mixed us up all the time. my daughters are mischa and maya (too similar for me, but the husband and i could not agree on a name for #2, so it is what it is) and i get tongue tied with them too. i really don't think it matters how similar or not the names are, as a mom, you're going to get your kids mixed up!
