saw this and thought of you guys. At least the two names in the lead right now aren't bad.
I actually went ahead and voted for Emily because it's the best option of them all in my opinion.

I voted too, for Madelyn. I prefer Madeline, but still, Madelyn isn't too horrendous a spell change, and it's the only one of the names I like.

I don't get what all the negative and judgmental comments are about though - I don't see what the big deal is in asking for opinions; we do that here all the time?

Seriously. It's not even a new concept for the internet. People have been asking friends and neighbors for input on names for centuries now. The only difference is that this couple decided to involve all of Facebook

I voted for Madelyn, even though I liked "Emily" best. I figure, the parents really liked Madelyn and McKenna, so the choice was really between those two names.

It might be a weird idea for some (or most?) people, and I personally wouldn't do it, but it's not like they have to go with what the internet has chosen, and it's not terribly different than asking everyone they know for their opinions.

Seriously, I look at both names and I can't believe they're supposed to be the same. Anyway, Adeline is not really my style, so Emily and Madelyn (with a different spelling) are my favorite.
