One of my best friends had her baby this afternoon.

Iris Michelle joins big sister Izabel Marianne

parents Ben and Allyce [like Elyse but with an 'a' sound]


Iris was just a name they liked and both of the grandmothers are named Michelle.

WDYT? I actually really like it, even if both the girl's names start with I. (maybe that's because I'm a Jennifer with an older brother named Jason)

yeah I'm not a big fan of the z either but I figure it's a lot better than Isabell or Izzabehl or something equally hideous.

I like Iris, not Izabel so much just because it's been so popular lately. I actually love the name Allyce, too. Alysce is my grandmother's name, pronounced the same way.

Other than the matchy initials and the spelling of Izabel, I don't mind them.
