[identity profile] tinylittlestars.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
We have this woman who calls up our company every now and then, and her name is Tricki. Obviously there is no way this could be her realy name (unless her mum was in labour for like 40 hours, and then had to go in for a caesar [birth, not salad], or the baby was breach and therefore had a "tricky" birth)...

Can anyone shed any light on what her full name might be. My boss suggested Patricia...

I wouldn't completely rule out it being her real name. People do strange things naming their children.

Patricia is a possibility. Some people are just named Tricia too so that could be it as well.

I've seen worse names, so I wouldn't say it couldn't be her real name.

Well... this is a stretch, but Breatrix/Breatrice?

The nickname for those names is Trixie, so it could be a modified form of that?...

I mean her name could be Beatrix/Beatrice, and she could have messed with the nickname 'Trixie' till it got her.. Tricki.

Like I said, it's a stretch lol.

Then again, my friend's name is Carolyn. When she was thirteen, we (me and friends) bestowed her with the nickname Pixy. Now she uses it for everything. Most of her friends have no idea she has a 'real' name.

So who knows!! lol
