I dunno how I feel about this article. I DO agree that kids don't need to have a funny or strange name to get picked on. Almost everyone does get picked on at some point in their lives regardless of whether or not they have a strange name. I still don't think it necessarily helps the situation though.
Agreed. I'm torn on this, as well. Kudos to this person for deciding to own her name and be proud of it, and it's true that kids will find any reason to pick on someone. But that doesn't excuse parents who give their kids ridiculous names, and I don't think doing so should be encouraged.
