My wife and I are expecting. We've semi-decided on names, but are still feeling a bit unsure.

For a girl, the middle name will be Rachel (family name). We're semi-decided on Sadie as the first name, but are looking for other ideas just in case.

As a Sarah myself, Sadie sounds like a nickname, but I like it :) And I like Sadie Rachel together. We don’t have a lot the same style in names, but Naomi is on my short list, and Eleanor would be if I wouldn’t insist on calling her Ellie and we already have an Ellie in the family – lol!

I like Benjamin, and all my boy-dolls were named Tobin nn Toby when I was little :)

We have similar taste in boys names! My first is named Elliott, and our second, if a boy, would have had Bennett as a middle! (the first would have been Max) But because our second ended up being a girl, we named her Avery. I like Sadie Rachel, it flows really well!

You guys vetoed October with the nn Tobi, but what about Toby/Tobi as a stand alone name? I had an aunt Toby and always thought her name was really neat.

I also like Eleanor Rachel.

I want to like Sadie but I can't get past the 4 dogs I know with that name. Sadie Rachel is sorta cute though.

I love Elliott or Luca with River as the middle name. Luca would be this baby's name if we didn't already have a Lucy.

We have very similar taste in names!
Right now it's between Luca and Elias for us for our boy and Eve and Nora for our girl. I really like River and all sorts of nature/place names. I really like the name Zealand for a boy, but husband has a friend with a kid named that. HTH! :)
