need middle name

I found out today I'm having ANOTHER baby girl. I've had a name I've been throwing around for a couple of days but need a middle name to go with it before I can make my decision.

Ketzia

Here are some other names on my list, just so you can see what I like. Some have been on there a while, some I just jotted down the first time I heard them and don't really love them.

I have a thing for names ending in A, if you couldn't tell... but I don't really like the sound of both ending in A, so that knocks out pretty much my whole list.

I'm not a huge fan of Ketzia, honestly, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Natalia. I really like Isadora with both of them, but since you don't like them both ending in A, maybe Isabelle?

I really love Natalia because it's one of my middle names... Helena Dawn Natalia. I like Isadora too. I have a friend actually and her daughter is Petra Isadora. :)

I like Kezia/Keziah better than Ketzia, personally, but either way I'm not really fond of the name too much.

I like Natalia A LOT and I also love Isla. Isadora is gorgeous (better sounding and easier to say than Isabel and it's variants). I like Clea, Yesenia, and Anila too.

Isla was at the top of my list for a few days until I realized how it's pronounced. Isadora's been at the top for weeks but in the last few days I've started to second guess it for some reason. I really want to name this baby, but maybe I need to hold off for a bit.

Do you think Yesenia is to "out there"? I was pretty set on the name with my second daughter until only a few weeks before she was born. I just couldn't commit to it at the end. I've thought about Jesenia instead, but really don't like Jess/ Jessie.

I don't think Yesenia is as "out there" as Ketzia. I think Yesenia is actually pretty!

Natalia/Natalya is on our 'maybe' list, but I know what you mean about names ending the same! Our daughter is Chayla and I'm wary of having two that sound similar. Still, I seem to like a large portion of names like that. XD

Have you considered shifting another name you like from your list to end differently?

Yeah, I guess- I think it's just the Y at the beginning that throws me! I think it's really pretty, also, and love the nicknames that can come out of it. My first daughter has a name that some people can't even pronounce (Svetlana) but it has a really easy, short nickname that we use as her name almost full time (Lana).

i'd never heard of ketzia before, but i really like it! i know you're not keen on the double -a ending, but i think ketzia isadora sounds nice. i like ketzia adelaide too.

I'm not worried about the names of my separate kids- the other two have first names that end in A as well. I just find the flow of the first and middle to be a little odd with As. Maybe I just haven't found the right combo, though.

I haven't considered much at all yet- I was pretty convinced there was no way I could make 3 girls in a row until about 4 hours ago!

This is true. That always flows a little oddly, and in my head it's even more so when there's the same/similar number of syllables in each.

Ah well, all will work out in the end! And congratulations! :D (Reminds me of another forum.. someone had learned she's on her SIXTH boy. o_0 I just couldn't.. there's no way.. *lol* )

Thanks, I'm getting excited! I was hoping for a boy, but not completely against the thought of another girl. I started cloth diapering and knitting when my youngest was 7-8 months so I'm excited to be able to do both with a NB girl!

I went to high school with an Idalia. She responded to both pronunciations. The ih-dah-leah pronunciation is used most often by Hispanics.
