[identity profile] cherryrider.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

Any future children I'm having I have the names.
So If I have a girl this time I'm going to name her the girl name but the boy name will definitely be used next time or vice versa.

Girl : Hannah Sage
Boy: Clyde Gage

I like them both.

Are you sure you want your kids middle names to rhyme? I can't decide if that would bother me or not.

My in-laws have a dog name Clyde. That's all I can think of. And Clyde Gage doesn't flow very well in my opinion. However, I like Hannah Sage a lot.

I like Hannah Sage, not so much the boys name. But I'm not really feeling the rhyming middle names.

I don't think it would be a big deal. I mean it's only obvious if you're going "And here are my kids Clyde Gage and Hannah Sage" which shouldn't happen very often lol. I really like them, especially Hannah Sage.

I really like Hannah Sage but don't like Clyde Gage at all, especially the Gage part.

I LOVE the name Clyde. Don't let boring people tell you it's too out there.

Hannah is too common for my taste, but that combo is otherwise nice. I think I'd prefer Sage Hannah, just because it would be a little more original and she's be less likely to be one of many in her school.

Clyde is an interesting choice. Not a favorite of mine, but I respect it and would find it pretty cool on someone else's son. I don't care for the chop-chop sound of two one-syllable names though, that's my only complaint there.

I like the name Sage, but not sure if it goes well with Hannah or not. And the boys name, I think its a little too abrasive for a first name, maybe it would be better as a middle name. I keep thinking of that old Clint Eastwood movie when I hear the name Clyde.

Yeah, #7 in the country actually.

Sage is cute though. Easy to say and spell, familiar but not common... I think it would a great name.

I like 'em, but I'm not too keen on the fact that the middle names rhyme.

I don't like Gage at all. Clyde is all right. And I LOVE Hannah Sage. :)

I really like Clyde Keef and Hannah Keef. That works well, I think. And I like Hannah with Kaitlyn, even though matching doesn't matter, I just like how they go together.

I like Hannah Sage a lot! But Clyde Gage Keef? Not feeling 3 1-syllable names in a row, although the names themselves are fine.

I only like "Gage" and "Sage" ... the rhyming thing isn't really a big deal to me because hey, they're middle names, whatever. I really don't like the name "Clyde" and "Hannah" is just to common, but I admit it goes well with your other daughters name.

oh, and what [livejournal.com profile] ewaeva said about the 3 1-sylabel names, that bugs me too... :S

I find myself cringing at Clyde. It just reminds me of a one-toothed, comb-over haired hick wearing his Big Smith overalls playin his banjo. Yeehaw. I like the rest. Don't even mind the rhyming middle names.

I love Hannah Sage. Not a HUGE fan of Clyde, but I have nothing against it. I don't see what the problem is in rhyming mn's, it's not like you run around introducing your children as Hannah Sage and Clyde Gage.
