Second child, middle name
Jan. 21st, 2011 10:52 pmHello! We are expecting baby #2, in early April, and I find myself struggling with a name. We are pretty sure it's a boy! I have an unusual name myself (Cheyanna, pronounced SHY-anna) and have always LOVED it, even if the spelling is misleading. Husband has a very normal name but is open to unusual names within reason.
Our 2.5 year old daughter's name is Zoƫ Michelle Margaret. Last name S.
Our very favorite name so far is Valen. (Pronounced VAY-len) This part is pretty much non-negotiable, unless I find something mindblowing in the next three months. The name means Strong and healthy in most name meaning websites I've searched. What I'm stuck on is a suitable middle name.
My hubby likes Valen Blue.
I'm not 100% sold on using a colour as a name, and have a list of other options. I don't want every aspect of his name to be strange and out-there, in case some day he decides he wants something a bit more conventional on his resume or whatever.
Other favorites include:
Leo
Malachi
Jamis
Jorel
Quinn
Slade
I'm also totally open to any other suggestions for a second name for Valen you might have!
:)
PS- In case the ultrasound was wrong and we have a girl, our favorite name is Lila or Vega Jane.
