so yesterday i heard an interesting name: Satin. usually i'd only think it suited a lil girl in a beauty pageant or something. but this girl was probably 20 something and it actually suited her quite well. she was semi-scene, if that makes any sense.

on facebook the other day i saw this: Grayci. i'm all for tryin different spellings of most names, but not this one. it's so classic, the original way of spelling it is just fine imo. to me, this spelling takes away from it's elegance. idk.

What's "semi-scene"? Or for that matter whole "scene"?

I know a Grayci...I feel really bad for her. :( If I were her, I'd be changing my name to Grace the minute I turned 18. I happen to loathe misspelled names, though.

Haha, I mean I've never heard the term 'scene kid' - what does it mean?

I kind of like Satin in a guilty-pleasure way, except that it's way too easy to turn it, intentionally or not, into Satan.
