I've never posted before, but love reading the names others post and frequently text them to my daughter who is currently expecting our second grandchild.I thought I'd post some family names. Posting these names doesn't necessary indicate I like them. Which do you like /dislike?

Dislike:
Courtney lynnel: I just don't care for the "nel" sound.
Jeremi Dixon: I would hesitate to put "dick" anywhere in a little boy's name.
Maria Sulyn: I don't care for the "su" sound either in most cases.
Caitlyn Aerial: Uh... Is that supposed to be Ariel?
Melissa Suzanne: See my above comment about not being a fan of "su" sounds.
Tara Dianne Lynnel: Again, don't care for "nel."
Mandolin Amelie: I know that it's a legitimate name, but my mind keeps wanting to read that as "Amelia" and it just doesn't sound right to me.
Debra Gayle: My first two thoughts are "Gay" and "Gregory Goyle." Either way, that little girl is in for a rough day whenever someone figures out her middle name.
Melinda Dawn: I normally don't have anything against Dawn, but for some reason reading it in combination with "Melinda" sets off Mary Sue alarms.
Dathan Wade: I always want to read "Dathan" as "Death" and I’m just generally not a fan of Wade.
Bonnie Lynne: I just don't think this name would age well.
Nelson: Ha-Ha!
Karley Kaye: The spelling just bugs me.

Lol you put some thought into your answers. Now let me put a little more history behind the names
1.Courtney lynnel is my daughter, called Courtney she liked the lynnel so much that it is one of her daughters name. Lynnel is the combination of lynne and Nelson who are my parents.
2.Jeremi Dixon is my 21year old son. He has never been the butt of a joke because of his name. Dixon means son of Richard which is his father.
3.sulyn is the combination of Suzanne and lynne. Me and my mother. She is my niece
4.yep I spelled Ariel wrong..lol sorry. That's a niece
5.Tara is my sister and the lynnel is explained above
6.I skipped Melissa Suzanne which is me.I hate Melissa and much prefer the Suzanne
7.mandolin amelie is the only fabricated name in the list. I recently saw the name mandolin and liked it. I'm not really partial to the amelie, but my daughter and son in law like it so it will probably end up on one of their children
8.debra gayle,melinda dawn and dathan wade are names of cousins. I can't say that the names thrill me, but they fit the general area where they live.
9.bonnie lynne is my mama. She goes by lynne and hates the name bonnie
10. Nelson was my daddys name and the only problem he had either stemmed from the fact that he didn't have a middle name or that people at times thought it was his last name.
11. Karley kaye is a niece. Not a fan of the name,but her mom usually calls her k.k.
12.james aaron is my other child called aaron. His initials spell jac and we purposely did that in reference to my husband's favorite uncle jack
13. Johnny eugene is my current husband.I dislike the eugene and to me johnny sounds like a little boy. His family calls him johnny, I call him john. Jeffery guy is his brother, I hate guy. His wife calls him jeff so she must feel jeffery is child like.
14. Tucker anderson is my brother, he is named after my granddaddy. Now he often was at times picked at with the vulger way tucker could be changed.
15.lori joann is his wife. Their children charlotte and rachel
16. Andrew alan is husband's other brother
17.blake is karley kay' brother
18.scarlett is granddaughter
19. Tyler is nephew
20 gabrielle is dathan's sister forgot to say her middle name is dean

Dathan is my cousin's name. I've never thought to ask where it came, but I feel like it is from the Bible. Dathan was against moses. I think this because his sister is Gabrielle the female.form of the name Gabriel from the Bible.
