All Boy Sibset

What do you think of this sibset?

In age order, although ages are not known:

William (goes by Billy)
Thomas (Tommy/Tom)
James (Jimmy/Jim)
Harry
Brian

The only middle names I know are Thomas Daniel and Brian Andrew.  (Last name starts with R so Brian's initials are BAR)

Also, what do you think this name I came across for a newborn today: Mirana Valentina

i love the sibset.. i think they go together wonderfully! they're all very traditional, strong names :) i like the fact that they stuck with the traditional, strong names after they started. that just thrills the heck outta me!!

i don't know why, but i'm not too fond of sibsets where they're all traditional sounding (ie William, Thomas, James...) and then there's one that's thrown in that doesn't seem to fit (normally the youngest one, it seems)... like Orangerainbowblossom.

Traditional names? great... stick with them! modern or "different" type names? great... stick with them! i dunno- that's just my feeling at least :)

and i like Mirana... i like Valentina... i don't like it together... too many "uh" sounds for me.

Mirana reminds me of Mirena, which is an IUD. I don't think it's best to name your child after a form of birth control, lol.

I love the sibset! The only names I really love out of it are William and James, but they are all classic, maybe Brian a little less so, strong names. I don't know. They just fit together really well, I think.

I don't like the other name. Mira Valentina would have been okay. Mariana Valentina would sound nice. I just don't like Mirana and I don't like it with Valentina.

The sibset is nice. Mirana looks incomplete...my mind keeps wanting to add the D in there to make it Miranda!

Wow. Billy, Tommy, and Jimmy-- does it smell like the 50s in here? Harry and Brian are a little better... Brian smells like the 80s instead, lol... There's really nothing wrong with any of the names, and I wouldn't be surprised to meet a little William (Will?), Thomas, or James, it's only the nicknames that seem dated. Harry and Brian stick out a little from the others, but it's not like they have Billy and Jayden, you know? It works out all right. Not really my style, though.

Mirana Valentina is GORGEOUS. My one concern is that Mirana, in everyday use when people aren't pronouncing it clearly, can sound a lot like Moronic/Moron-ah. Also it rhymes with Piranha... But the name itself is lovely.

That's actually kind of cute. We called my little brother Froglet and Tadpole a lot as a baby. He liked to lay on his stomach with his legs curled up under him, he looked just like a little frog.

Brian feels out of place to me. I think perhaps Peter, George or Charles would have worked better.
