August 6th I gave birth to my son, Abel Matthew.

As it turns out, Amy Poehler had her son on August 6th, Abel James.

1. What a damn coincidence.
2. Do you think Abel is on track to become another popular name?

I feel like I've been seeing it in this community a LOT, so maybe it's heading toward popularity... but I haven't met any kids/heard of any births with the name myself, so IDK!

I hope not! I love the name Abel and fought for it (Abel James actually) but my husband wasn't going for it...something about Abel being the "good son" (Biblically speaking) which would send the message that our toddler Ezra is the "bad son". Who knows!! It turns out the baby's a girl anyway. :p
