So a writer friend of mine is having a boy. The theme with her first two kids (both girls) is to give them middle names of fictional works that has influenced her writing or inspired her as a child.

She wants to name her son after Harry Potter.

So which sounds better:

Caius Harry
Caius Potter

For reference her two older girls are named:
Freya Belle
Lyra Alice

I think I might be an idiot...how do you pronouce Caius? Like "sigh-us"? If that is the way, then Harry.

Then I prefer Potter.

Potter. And I'm guessing she was also a fan of His Dark Materials.

Caius Harry, though they both flow well.

I like all three names. Unusual, yet not too "crazy".

I like Caius Harry. Potter is too much of a surname for me, and I think Harry is less obvious.

Caius Harry. I think it sounds really nice, both on its own and with the two other names. I really don't like Caius Potter...too much, even though I like Harry Potter!

That's what I figured, Alice (in wonderland) and Belle (beauty and the beast) are both Disney characters.

to the OP: if she *must* theme name, I think she should stick with classic disney, like her first two. :)

I don't really like either, honestly. :-\ But Harry's middle name was James, so I immediately thought of Caius James, which sounds nice...

Caius Harry. IMO Potter is... well, what it is really, a surname; definitely not a first name.

Love Caius; of the choices I'd go with Potter. But I'd like to through a suggestion out -

Caius Severus

I usually don't care for combos ending with the same sound, but I love this.

I thought of Cambridge before I thought of Twilight, if that matters. But Caius Potter, definitely.
