I think overall, I really like most of the names. Nothing terribly exciting, but also nothing completely awful.
I thought it was interesting that Luca, despite being an Italian name, is actually much more popular in the German/French speaking areas.
The names ‚Nando’ and ‚Asia’ surprised me...I’ve certainly never met anyone with those names.
So...wdyt?
Which ones are your favorites?
Which ones do you not like at all?
Any names that surprise you or that you hadn’t heard before?
If you had to name a child using names from these lists, what would first name/middle name combination would you come up with?

I left out repeats. I also left out the Romansh names too, because I only liked the ones I'd already mentioned before!
Never heard of Levin. I don't hate it, but I don't particularly like it either. And weird to see Simone on a boy! I understand it in an Italian context, but it'll always be a girl's name to me.

Date: 2010-08-09 03:25 pm (UTC)Levin seems like a bit of a trendy name to me. I had never heard it until a couple of years ago, when all of a sudden it started to pop up everywhere. It's a legit name though as far as I know.
