babynamesA family friend and his wife had their first daughter together over the weekend, and I have been waiting to see the exact spelling of it to share it with all of you: Kahlin Gwendolyn; Gwendolyn after the child's late grandmother (edited to include pronunciation: Kay-lin, as best as I know).
At first, when she came back from visiting them, my mother thought it was Caden, and I swore a little. Then she thought it might've been something like Kaylee/its various spellings. But their Facebook was updated today, and it is Kahlin Gwendolyn.
Which I still think is pretty horrible. My mom thinks it's a nice name, just with a bad spelling, but I think it's just a bad name. WDYT?
