Hi! Im new here. My name is Isabella (some people call me Bella though). My boyfriend (Wesley) and I are having our first child in September. We have chosen these names
If it is a girl: Isabella Sophia (Isabella after me)
If it is a boy: Robert Westin (Wesleys first name is Robert, middle name is Wesley. All males in his family are Robert W_____, and Westin is what my dad used to call Wes when we first started dating- I dont know why).
Im sure more names will come up before the baby is born so I will continue adding. I dont like the idea of naming my daughter after me, but Wesley loves it so perhaps it will work. It is one of the few names we have agreed on so far. We have been picking out names since we first started going out a year and a half though... so I dont know.

i think the name isabella is so beautiful, but i don't about having a daughter named after you. my boyfriend wanted to name our first daughter after me, but i nixed it because it would be too confusing.

I love both names. Men name their sons after them all of the time. Why shouldn't women do the same? And, like your boyfriend, you wouldn't have to call her Isabella. You could call her Sophia. Or some other nickname.

I would neverrrrrr name my child my first name. Then again I'm a Mary and I hate it, if I had a better name like Isabella maybe I would. Maybe just Isabelle so it's a little bit different? And Robert Westin is nice.

yeah i agree it woulld be tooconfusing..even if u did call her Isabelle.. it would cause confusion... maybe you could name her Isabella Sophia but call her sophia..but thats JMO..
