I was looking through some B&S questions on Yahoo! Answers, and someone spelled Kitty's name "Kitie". I was curious if anyone had actually seen the name spelled this way before (not as in a typo, but as in that was actually how someone spelled their name).

Without the additional t, I can't help reading it as "Kite-y".

It looks weird and, without being told, I wouldn't pronounce it Kitty.
