 A close friend of mine recently took in a friend who is going through a divorce and her three children.

My friend: Ashley Nicole
Her kids: Gabriel Anthony Ryan (3) (Anthony and Ryan are names of friends who passed away) & Madelyne Isabella Bliss (10 mos.)

Her friend: Maeghan
Her boys: Gavin Leon (5), Mason Kyle (3), & Benjamin Marcus (5 mos.)

Also, met a little boy at B&N named Pascal.

Not at all. Catholics are usually confirmed when they're between 13-16. It's a rite of passage, sort of the equivalent of a bar mitzvah. Typically, as part of it, you pick a saint's name to take on, and it sort becomes an unofficial additional middle name.
